Here at Kris Clay Studios, we offer the full range of interior design services employing standards in every phase of every project. We take historical, geographical, and cultural influences into account, as well as regional art and artisans, natural resources, local building materials, and construction capabilities.
Our design philosophy is simple: design for your market. We seek to incorporate a unique flavor into each project, involving ourselves with the custom design of interior architectural details, interior finishes and materials, furniture, lighting, textiles, artwork, and accessories. Each project we work on is custom created based on research done prior to the actual design.
Clay has over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality Design Industry. Regardless of the scale and the scope of the project, his design perspective is constantly expanding to create unique and efficient design solutions for the hospitality industry in today's market.
Clay's education includes degrees in Interior Design from the Institute of Art Colorado, and Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University. His career began with developing interior design programs for Regal Hotels International, Hilton, Marriott, and Stouffer Hotels. His work has encompassed various historic landmark projects in American National Parks such as Yellowstone National Park and Grand Canyon National Park.
In addition, Clay's portfolio includes destination resorts, restaurants, bars, spas, and golf club communities from the East to the West Coast. Although his roots are grounded nationally, he now engages in developing interior design programs within the international market, including China and Australia.
